Carol Sue Wright, age 77, of Olathe, Kansas, (formerly of Fort Scott, Kansas) went home to be with her heavenly Father, on July 1, 2022.
Carol was born June 7, 1945 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Jacob and Doris Stumfoll. On August 30, 1964, she married the love of her life, Denny Allen Wright, and they made their home in Olathe, Kansas.
To this union, three children were born; Pam Dace (Charles), Rodney, and Dennis (Doris). Also surviving are grandchildren Shannon Dace, Eric Dace (Samantha), Kalie Wright, Sunny Wright, Talon Wright, and Judy Cruz, great-grand-children Olivia Deaton and Avery Dace. She is also survived by her sister Shirley (Dan) Hensley, and her brothers Roger (Sharon) Stumfoll, and Kent (Stephanie) Stumfoll, and her beloved cats, Stella and Charlie.
Carol was loved and treasured by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved everyone back just as much and will be missed by many.
She was a member of Christ the Servant Church, where she enjoyed time volunteering.
Her favorite things were her family, and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Doris Stumfoll and her sisters, Linda Thomas and Sandra Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are suggested to the Olathe Hospice House in Carol's name.
