Carol Louise Lark passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, in Olathe, KS, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born on December 20, 1945, to Michael and Grace (Marcella) Chimenti in Kansas City, MO both of whom preceded her in death.
Carol lived a full and meaningful life defined by faith and family.
A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Carol graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1964. She went on to attend Draughon’s Business College, where she developed the business skills that served her throughout her career. Carol worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Quest Diagnostics for 24 years, a career she took great pride in.
Carol was known for being family-oriented, fun-loving, wise, kind, empathetic, generous, fashionable! and adventurous. She was deeply devoted to her faith and to those she loved, and she was the kind of friend who could always be counted on.
In her free time, Carol enjoyed going to the theatre, music, cooking, tending to her flower garden, exercising, reading, shopping, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She especially enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
Above all, Carol’s greatest joy and lasting accomplishment was the love she poured into her roles as a devoted wife, mother, and “Mimi.” She will be remembered for the love, kindness, selflessness, and quiet strength she shared with everyone around her.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Paul F. Lark, her parents Michael and Grace Chimenti and brother, Edward T. Chimenti.
She is survived by her four children, Lisa Price (Alexander), Kristen Vandeloo (Jeffrey), Deidre Lark, and Jeffrey Lark (Brittany); and her sister, Phyllis Marie Collins. She was blessed with seven wonderful grandchildren - Nicholas Misse, Ellie Price, Zoe Price, Kate Price, Leo Vandeloo, Grace Lark, and Mia Lark.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
