Bruce is survived by his wife, Jane Sorrels, his children Andrew and Stephanie Mettner, his father Keith Mettner, brothers Alan and Tim Mettner, and Jane's sons, Mathew, Daniel, and Michael Sorrels, and two grandchildren, Hannah and Luke Sorrels. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Mettner.
