Brett Michael Bacon

Brett Michael Bacon, a devoted husband, father, and esteemed Financial Advisor with LFS Wealth Advisors, passed away on August 3, 2025. Born on September 11, 1986, to John and Melanie Bacon of Olathe, KS, Brett's life was a testament to his faith in Jesus Christ and dedication to both family and profession.

Brett graduated from Olathe South High School in 2005 and completed his finance degree at Kansas State University. Brett furthered his education at Yale School of Management and obtained his Certified Professional Wealth Advisor Credential. Brett’s professional journey as a financial advisor was marked by his commitment to supporting his clients with expertise and integrity, who often left as friends.

Brett was a family man. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones. His unwavering support for his family and time spent with them highlighted the depth of his character. He will be remembered most fondly for his proudest accomplishments: his daughters. They were the light of his life and his greatest source of joy.

Brett lived life to its fullest: ski trips, youth baseball, ice hockey, men's softball league, motocross, playing golf, Chiefs football games, lake days and playing the guitar and drums. He was a collector of all things: boots, hats, cars and friends.

Brett married the love of his life, Brittany, who stood by his side through all of life’s challenges. He was a proud girl dad and leaves behind his daughters: Ellie, Savannah, Brooklyn, Madelyn, and Veda. He is also survived by his brother, Chad, sister, Andrea, his parents, John and Melanie Bacon, and a large, loving extended family.

Brett was a remarkable man. His strength, radiant personality and the love and kindness he demonstrated touched everyone around him. He will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Hope Chapel, Olathe, KS with a Celebration of Life on Monday, August 18th, at 10:00am at Hope Chapel, Olathe, KS.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Brett M Bacon Family Memorial Fund LLC c/o Simmons Bank, Olathe, KS.
