Brad Morton

Brad Morton, born September 27, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026 in Overland Park at the age of 83. Brad was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and cherished member of his extended family.

Brad’s journey began in Wichita, where his formative years shaped the values and deep sense of connection that defined his life. Throughout his years, Brad formed bonds with many who treasured his kindness, his wisdom, and his steadfast dedication to those he held dear.

He is remembered with love and admiration by his wife, Cindy Morton, who stood by his side through life’s joys and challenges. Brad is also survived by his brother Greg Morton and wife Kathy; whose lifelong camaraderie was a cornerstone of Brad’s family life. The Stultz family carries forward Brad’s legacy: nephew Kevin Stultz, nephew Ken Stultz, and niece Kristen Stultz, each of whom shared many treasured moments and memories with him. Great-niece Addie Stultz and great-nephews Adam Stultz and Peter Stultz likewise hold his memory close, remembering his gentle spirit and generous heart.

Brad’s devotion to family was unwavering. He found joy in celebrating milestones, offering support in times of need, and creating cherished traditions that will remain a foundation for those who survive him. To his loved ones, he was a source of quiet strength, compassion, and resilience. Brad was part of a men's bible study group for over 30 years and was an elder at Vineyard for several years.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Vineyard Church of Overland Park, 8301 Lamar Ave, Overland Park, KS 66207, affording friends and family the opportunity to pay their respects and share memories. Immediately following, a Celebration of Life service will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location, where Brad’s life and legacy will be honored. Afterward, a private family graveside service will be conducted at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9501 West 159th Street, Overland Park, KS 66221.

Though Brad has departed from this world, his presence remains in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the steadfast integrity that guided every step of his journey.

The family will gratefully remember Brad’s life, carrying forward the values and memories that he so generously imparted. May he rest in peace.
