Bonnie Lowe, age 69, of Washington, Oklahoma, passed away on August 7, 2026. She was born on January 19, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Bonnie grew up in Stanley, Kansas, where she attended Blue Valley High School. She went on to work as a Contract Specialist for the Army Corps of Engineers, dedicating 30 years to her career before retiring in 2015.

Bonnie had a servant's heart. For 10 years, she devoted herself to caring for her mother. She later moved to Washington, Oklahoma. Bonnie had a lifelong love for animals, with horses holding a special place in her heart. Most recently, she enjoyed the companionship of her beloved pet rabbit, Bunny.

Above all, Bonnie loved Jesus, and her faith was an important part of her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, loving nature, and compassion for others. She was always willing to lend a helping hand in any way she could, and her caring spirit touched the lives of those who knew her.

She leaves behind her brothers, Bill, David, Tom, and Randy; 12 nieces and nephews; and 25 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Bill; her mother, Rosalie; her sister, Shelley; and her niece, Krystle.

Visitation will be held on August 17, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe, Kansas. A graveside service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9501 W. 159th Street, Overland Park, Kansas.
