Bob Hall

Claude (Bob) R. Hall, SSGT Retired, 75, of Olathe, after a hard-fought battle with cancer; passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Christ Jesus on May 18, 2026.

Bob was born August 31,1950 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Lewgene and Mary Kathryn Hall (nee Roland).

Bob graduated in 1968 from Olathe Senior High School where he met the love of his life and best friend Pam. Bob and Pam married June 14, 1970 in Olathe, Kansas and shared 55 years together and were blessed with 3 sons, Sean, Brett and Jason.

Bob went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone in September 1968 as a cable splicing technician, later becoming a Construction Manager in Olathe, retiring in 2000 after 32 years.

Bob also served his country enlisting in the US Navy in July 1969, serving aboard the USS Canopus in Holy Loch, Scotland and the USS Moale and the Seabees in Brooklyn, New York. Bob later joined the Navy Reserves in 1983 and served with the Reserve Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 15 in Topeka, Kansas. Bob left the Navy Reserves in 1995 and joined the Missouri National Guard Kansas City in 1997. He served a total of 27 years of military service, retiring in 2009 as a Staff Sergeant.

Bob loved serving his country, coaching baseball and soccer, watching his grandsons play sports and his granddaughter play the violin.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Lewgene and Mary K. Hall and sister Vicki Ann. He is survived by his wife Pam, son’s Sean (Kelly) Hall, Brett (Christina) Hall and Jason Hall. His 3 grandchildren, Carter, Samera and Braydon. His fur babies Bella and Shadow along with niece Melissa (Willie) and many other nieces and nephews

The family would like to thank Dr. Iqbal and the nurses at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center and Ascend Hospice for their compassionate care.
