Betty Inga Oglesby, 87, of Olathe, passed away on August 16, 2024 at Olathe Hospice House.
She was born on October 23, 1936 to Johann and Anna (Wilhelm) Wagner in Nuremberg, Germany.
Betty worked as a Seamstress, and loved to sew, cook and make recipes.
On December 23, 1959, she married Loomis Oglesby III in Nuremberg, Germany, who served in the Army. Betty made her home in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, and she enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family members and listening to music.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle R (Anthony) Adams, her grandchildren, Candice N. Williams and Christian R. Brown, great-grand-daughter Zorie D. Kennedy, and two brothers, Christian and Gerhardt Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died during the Vietnam War in 1966.
