Betty Jane Edmunds-Evans, age 87, passed away in Kansas City, MO on Jan. 1, 2014. Betty was born in Atlanta, GA on Jan. 7, 1926. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arthur Edmunds in 2000. She is survived by her second husband of 11 years, Emery Evans and her four children Bill, Ed, Beth and Neva, her step children David and Reva, as well as nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Betty loved God with her whole heart and served Him faithfully. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 10100 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66212.
