Austin William Mudloff, of Olathe, Kansas, was born on January 31, 1998, in Palo Alto, California. Due to a tragic accident, Austin passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the age of 27.

In his short life, Austin made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him, leaving behind a legacy defined by his vibrant spirit and kind-hearted nature.

Austin’s professional journey included three fulfilling careers. He began by working alongside his father at Mudloff Construction, LLC, then moved into painting with Ryan Painting, Inc., and most recently found his passion as an electrician at Lake Electric, LLC. Austin took great pride in his work, always bringing skill, dedication, and enthusiasm to everything he did.

A lover of music, Austin had a special connection with country artist Gary Allan, who was his all-time favorite. He cherished attending Gary Allan concerts, especially those he shared with his mom. After one such concert on Thursday, August 21st, Austin said, “Best night of my life,” a reflection of how deeply music and those moments meant to him.

Austin is survived by his mother, Lori Mudloff; his brother, Colton Mudloff; his grandfather, David Mudloff; his aunts Jenean (George) Cayot and Tina Loperena; and his cousins Taylor (Brandon) Courtney, Chandler (Kelsey) Starling, Reese Cayot, Ty Cayot, Chase Greathouse, Faith Loperena. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathy Mudloff, Arthur and Wendy Johnson, and his aunt, Brenda Mudloff, as well as his father, Chad Mudloff, whose memory he now joins in peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Austin’s honor on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Mudloff Properties (Lake Electric/Q&A), located at 1917 E Spruce Street, Olathe, KS 66062.

Austin’s legacy will continue to shine through the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter, kindness, and determination will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
