Arjan Singh, a dedicated farmer and passionate poet, peacefully passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 88 in Spring Hill, Kansas.
Born on October 15, 1936, in India, he embodied a hard-working spirit that defined both his personal and professional life.
With a lifelong desire for education, Arjan Singh believed in the power of knowledge and continuously sought to better himself and those around him. His commitment to hard work and learning greatly influenced his approach to farming and shaped his interactions with the community.
Beyond his devotion to agriculture, Arjan Singh had a profound love for poetry, which enriched his life and allowed him to express his innermost thoughts and feelings. His literary pursuits reflected his unique perspective on the world and revealed the beauty he found in everyday moments.
He is survived by his daughter, Jasbir Kaur Chandi, and son-in-law, Darshan Singh Chandi, his son, Sarwan Singh Thind, and daughter-in-law, Paramjit Kaur Thind, his daughter, Kulwinder Kaur Dhanju, and son-in-law, Malkit Singh Dhanju, his son, Sulakhan Singh Thind and daughter-in-law, Sandeep Kaur Thind, who carry on the legacy of Arjan Singh values and principles. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeet Kaur, whose love and support were integral to his life's journey.
Arjan Singh will be fondly remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his passion for farming, and his love for the art of poetry. His spirit and contributions to the lives of those around him will endure through the memories shared by friends and family.
