Andree Millbern (Chopin Maiden Name) was born in Remuzat, France on November 30th, 1933. Her parents were Auguste Euguene Chopin and Anne Sophie Raith.
She lived her childhood through the hardship of the second world war. Andree met Robert Millbern who was doing his military service in France in the early 50’s. They married and had their first daughter Betty Anne in France.
They moved back to Kansas in 1955 and the other three daughters, Monique, Suzanne and Lorraine were born.
In 1964 the family moved to France when Bob was transferred there with John Deere. The eldest and youngest daughters moved back to the USA in the late 70’s. Monique remained in France and Suzanne moved to Madrid Spain.
Andree (Dee) became a widow in 2018 when she lost her beloved husband, Bob, and she had to overcome the unbearable loss of her oldest daughter Betty Ann in 2023.
Andree (Dee) was a wonderful and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was strong and resilient. She was witty, intelligent and loving. She left 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
