Gregory Glenn Heilman was born June 6, 1961 at Fairchild Air Force Base Hospital in Spokane, Washington. He was the beloved son of Margot Ann and Leo Glenn Heilman.

Greg received his education in various public schools because his father was in the US Air Force and the family moved every 3 1/2 to 4 years. Greg graduated from Papillion Nebraska High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and the boys golf team. Greg excelled at golf and was the boys state champion his senior year.

He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he received his bachelors degree in business in 1983.

After college he worked for 2 years and decided to pursue a masters degree at the University of Kansas. While at KU he met his future wife Jayne Spencer Boughton and after graduating in 1991 they married in 1992 at the Old Cathedral in St. Louis, Missouri. This union produced 3 sons: Spencer Glenn Heilman, Benjamin David Heilman and Matthew Gregory Heilman, all of whom survive.

Gregory was a cherished and loving son and father and is greatly missed.
