Taylor Nicole Battreall, 20, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, November 19th, 2022. She was born on March 3rd, 2002 in Merriam, Kansas to Melanie (Mairs) and Charlie Jr. Battreall. She was beloved of her parents, siblings and grandparents.

Taylor was born at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She grew up in Olathe, Kansas. She was educated in the Olathe School District where she played violin from 5th grade to 12th grade. She was a graduate of Olathe Northwest High School.

Taylor worked in the childcare industry and loved educating young children. She loved spending time with her siblings and friends, listening to music, and attending concerts. She was an avid reader of dystopian fantasy. She enjoyed cooking (and making messes) and spending lazy days beside the pool. She loved her three cats Greyson, Luna and Mila, who will miss her dearly.

Taylor is survived by her loving family, mother Melanie Battreall (Bob Lambert), father Charlie "C J" Battreall, Jr. (Kelli Kerr), siblings Lindsey Battreall and Lex Frieders, grandmother Esther Francis (Gary), grandfather Charlie Battreall, and grandfather Galen Mairs (Jean).

Taylor is preceded in death by her grandmother Candy Battreall.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, December 4th 2022, from 2:00-4:00pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, Kansas, to remember and celebrate Taylor’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Taylor’s memory be made to KC Pet Project or National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
