Edith G. Murray passed away on November 9, 2022 at the Olathe Hospice House.

She was born on June 10, 1932 in Henrietta, MO to James and Pauline (Jarmon) Chowing.

Edith married Herbert H. Murray on May 18, 1963 and they were blessed with 45 years together.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert Murray & children: Jimmy Mayfield, Roy Lee Teagarden, William Cline, Donald Sigrist, Mary Jane Franklin, sisters: Sylvia Hamic, Dorothy (Jarman) Gould, Stella Mae Huffman, Edna Elder and brother Wilbur Chowning.

She is survived by her children: Mary Raley of Olathe, KS, Dorothy Quiggle of Olathe, KS, Robert Bolin of Weston, KS, Nona Isham of Lexington, MO, Violet Thomsen of Savannah, MO, Sandra Sigrist of Albany, MO, Ginger Simpson of Leavenworth, KS, Caroline Cline & brother Bobby Chowning.

Edith had many grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids that she loved.

A graveside service will take place at a later date at the Higginsville Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
