Greg was born to Chester & Pauline Duck on May 12, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. He resided most of his adult life in Olathe, Kansas. After graduating from Olathe High School and the University of Kansas with a degree in military science, he accepted a commission into the United States Navy as a lieutenant junior grade. He was then sent to Pensacola, Florida for naval flight school and upon graduation flew helicopters as a first lieutenant for the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy, he drove for many trucking companies.
He enjoyed his travels while meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
He had a deep Christian faith.
He is survived by sisters Diana Duck, Mesa, AZ, Debra Hayes (James) Little Elm, TX, Mark Duck, Overland Park, KS, Paul Duck, Lenexa, KS, nieces Kelsey Moore (Dwight), Prairie Village, KS and Jayne Holmes (Tim) Olathe, KS, nephew Brad Bussjaeger, Dallas, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil & Pauline Duck.
