Carol C. Castaldo, 82, of Stilwell, KS, passed away on July 20, 2022 at Riverbend Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center in Kansas City, KS.
She was born on November 4, 1939, in Cold Springs, NY to Rutherford and Vera (Harris) Rose, the youngest of twelve.
In April of 1959, she married the love of her life, Vincent John “Jim” Castaldo, and they made their home in Mount Kisco NY before moving to Stilwell Kansas in 1988.
Carol enjoyed a career in Nursing in NY and Virginia and later working at Johnson County Community College in continuing education registration when they moved to Kansas.
Carol’s favorite pastime was spending time and taking care of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and helping others.
Carol is survived by her three children Vincent, Jr.; Louis Joseph II; and Catherine; her daughter in laws Jeannie and Laura and seven grandchildren: Danielle, Andrew, Anna, Caroline, Caitlin, Haley and Margaret, her brother-in-law Anthony Patti and sister-in-law Marie Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
