Carol J. (Cole) DuPrey, 77, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Carol was born in Glens Falls, NY on August 8, 1944, to Bernard and Geneva (Ross) Cole. She married Richard F DuPrey, Sr. on February 28, 1964. He preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by both of her parents and oldest son, Kevin R DuPrey.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Dick) DuPrey Jr of Paola, KS, Robyn M. Sidwell of Olathe KS, 3 granddaughters: Dacia (Kalob) Allen of St Pete, FL, Jessica (Aaron) Shrum of Olathe, KS and Emily (Brandon) Watson of Lenexa, KS, 2 great granddaughters (Khloe & Kennedy) and 2 great grandsons (Alvin & Brooks) plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, David B Cole (Mary Commanda) of Hudson Falls NY.
The family would like to thank Lorraine Maynard, Wendy Maynard, and Susan Lake for their help during this difficult time. The family would also like to thank Olathe Health Hospice House for the exceptional care and compassion during Carol’s stay.
