Nancy grew up in West Swanzey, N.H., she graduated from Simmons College in Boston, married Bob in 1961, enjoyed 60 years of marriage, and had 3 children with Bob that has now produced a family of 37 living in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Virginia, Indiana and Mexico.
Nancy came to a saving faith in Jesus after moving to Cheshire, CT, in the late sixties and the rest of her days were filled with serving Him. Throughout the years she had a deep love and commitment to children’s ministries, starting prayer teams, leading Bible studies for people of all ages, and serving in many churches sharing her big smile, warm heart and motherly love with so many. She had a servant’s heart in everything she did. Because of her love for God’s Word, she helped start Community Bible Study in the Kansas City area, was a Teaching Director and eventually Area Director, and even led a local Bible study in recent years. She loved people well and served them and her Savior faithfully.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Priest, Sr.; children, Bob (Sandra) Priest, Jr., Alan (Jill) Priest, and Diane “Dee Dee” (Travis) Strong; 11 deeply-loved grandchildren and 12 precious great-grandchildren. Nancy is also survived by her brothers, Homer Samuel (Lucy) Bradley and David H (Ann) Bradley and many other beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer S. and Alice I. Bradley; brothers, Proctor (Shirley), John (Lorraine), and Morton (Mable).
The family will receive guests for a visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Penwell-Gabel's Olathe
Chapel, the funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, the 18th, also at Penwell-Gabel. The funeral service will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking here.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Nancy’s memory be made to AOG Children’s Home in Mexico, c/o Seeds of Love, P.O. Box 5103, Helena, Montana 59604 or to City Union Mission.
