In Memory Of
Carole June Duitsman
1939 - 2021

Carole June Duitsman, 81, passed away on November 6, 2021 at her home in Olathe, KS.

She was born on December 9, 1939 to William and Mollie (Jackson) Stephens at Newport, Arkansas. Her family later moved to Florida where she enjoyed picking fresh oranges from the local orchard.

Carole lived in multiple cities before meeting her husband, Frederick John Duitsman, in Memphis, TN. They had a son, Stanley Ryan Duitsman, and moved to Ozark, MO.

Carole enjoyed retirement after working as a Legal Secretary for more than 40 years. During retirement she enjoyed reading a book or two a week while still finding time to watch as many movies as she could. Gladiator and Godfather were two of her favorites. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her son and daughter-in-law, and dog-sitting for her grand-dogs.

Carole is survived by her loving son, Stanley, and his wife, Sarah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mollie Stephens; and her husband, Frederick John Duitsman.

No services to be held at her request.

Memorials are suggested to the dog rescue or wolf conservation organization of your choice. Suggestions include Missouri and Kansas GSP Rescue (https://www.makgsprescue.org/donate) and Chain of Hope (https://chainofhopekc.org/donate) where a couple of Carole’s grand-dogs came from.
