Sue J. David, 82, of Olathe, KS formerly of Seabrook, MD, born May 28, 1938 in Danville, VA was welcomed into heaven’s gates on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at home.

Sue was a conscientious student in high school, a member of the National Honor Society and her “claim to fame” was going to school with Muppet creator Jim Henson! Sue married C.T. David in 1955 with a heart’s desire to be a mother and homemaker. She built a warm, nurturing and loving home for her husband and three children. She also had a brief career as a Nursing Assistant serving her colleagues & patients with kindness and compassion.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Laurel, MD.

She is preceded in her passing by her husband, C.T., her parents, Martin and Annie Warren (Smith), a daughter, Sue Ann, in infancy, and a brother, Samuel Warren.

She is survived by her children: Carey David of Ocala, FL, Steven (Melody) David of Ashburn, VA, Jean (Scott) Grant of Olathe, KS; seven grandchildren: Collin (Sabrina) David, James (Jen) David, Maggie (Jacob) Passmore, Emily (Justin) Sizemore, Jenna David (Erik Guldbech), Jackson and Rebekah Grant; and five great-grandchildren: Arthur, Gregory, Cyrus, Emmett, Louisa May and one on the way.
