Following that they moved to Kansas City where Larry attended Seminary. After serving in the ministry for almost 5 years, they moved to Olathe, KS where they lived for 35 years while Larry served as Computer Science Department Chair at MidAmerica Nazarene University until 2012. Larry became her full-time caregiver in 2013 following a major health issue until she passed away. In 2020 Dorothy and Larry moved to Sioux Falls, SD near their son where she passed away. Dorothy loved her church where she was a longtime member of College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas, where she was involved in Women’s Bible Study, VBS, Sunday School and Missions.
