Justin Patrick Garcia, 41, of Olathe, passed away on November 13, 2020 at the Olathe Medical Center.
He was born on May 16th, 1979 to Angel and Patricia Garcia in Merriam, KS.

Justin worked as a Lab Technician for Parker. He was an avid player of disc golf, bowling, and poker. He loved taking his dogs Scarlet and Shadow to dog parks. He was a passionate amateur chef and loved baking, cooking, and grilling countless original dishes for friends and family.

Justin leaves behind his parents Angel and Patricia Garcia; fiancé Andrea Haun (Mulhall) and step children Max and Alex; siblings Angel D. (Susan) Garcia of Olathe, KS; Byron Garcia of Olathe, KS; Candice (Theo) Daniels and nephews Red and Crew Daniels of Olathe, KS.

He leaves behind his Maternal aunts and uncle: JoAnn Lozano of Merriam, KS, Sophia (Robert) Poor of Mustang, OK; Cecilia (Steve) Masters of Buffalo, MO; and Chris (Teresa) Mejia of Olathe, KS.

He leaves behind his Paternal aunts and uncles: Carmen Williams of KC; Roberta Garcia of KC; Michaela (Joseph) Escareno of KC; Christina Valdivia of KC; and Guadalupe (Linda) Garcia of KC and Louie Garcia of KC.
Justin’s Godchildren include Maya Rivera and Red Daniels.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Torivio O. Sr. & Elvira Garcia and Lawrence & Luciana Esperanza Mejia; aunts Carmella Jauregui; Mary Castillo and uncles Torivio M. Garcia Jr.; Philip Garcia; Anthony Garcia; Ricardo Garcia.

Justin never missed an opportunity to lay back and chill but also loved being around family, friends and his many cousins, attending Chiefs’ games, going to breweries and on pub crawls, and always loved celebrating St. Patty’s Day and Mardi Gras. He always lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who grew up with him and those who ever had the privilege to meet him.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe, KS, with a Rosary starting at 5:30pm. Masks and social distancing will be required. Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral mass will be held.
