Donald Gene Stearns, 59, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away on June 23, 2020, at the University of Kansas Medical Center.


He was born on May 26, 1961, to Donald and JoAnne (Goodenow) Stearns-Hulsey in Kansas City, Missouri.


Don worked in the Eyewear Industry for over 30 years. He was a road warrior and a member of the "President's Club".


Don and Jennifer were married for 27 years and resided in Lenexa, Kansas.


Donald is survived by his loving spouse, Jennifer, his sons Donald Julian Stearns and Dalton Lee Stearns, his mother, JoAnne Hulsey, his nephew Robert Austin Stearns, Jr. (Christina), his adored cat Lazer, brothers Robert Austin Stearns, Sr., Jeffrey Pearson, Jason Pearson, nieces Melissa Stearns-Blevins (Jesse), Magan Pearson, Madelyn Pearson, great nieces Jalynne Blevins, Olivia Blevins, Zoey Layne and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Gene Stearns, Sr.
