Kimlane Syhabout, 66, of Gardner, KS passed away on May 11, 2020. She was born on December 3, 1953 to Xiousinh Lee and Seng Setsaysy in Thakhek, Laos.

Kimlane grew up with 6 brothers and was the middle child. She married Sophonh in April of 1976, they have five children; 4 girls and a boy. She moved to the States in September of 1990 and began working for Dazey, Mid-American Plastics, and finally Cramer in 2006. She retired in 2019. Kimlane enjoyed the simple things in life, she took pride in raising her family and enjoyed nothing more than quality time with them. She loved to cook and take care of her grandchildren. Aside from caring her grand-kids, she loved to garden.

Kimlane is survived by her loving husband, Sophonh Syhabout; children, Khio Jaksen, Breanna Wickey, Mya Le, Thal Syhabout, and Saige Hamm; siblings, Leo Simmalavong, Bounxay Setsaysy, Jean-Luc Setsaysy, and Somthavong Setsaysy; and grandchildren, Emma Le and Eli Le.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Xiousinh Lee and Seng Setsaysy, her 2 older brothers, and nephew, Virasath Simmalavong.

The family will receive guests for a visitation on Friday, May 15, 2020, from 1:00-3:00 pm at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2020, also at Penwell Gabel.
