In Memory Of
Randall "Randy" Dale McEver
1954 - 2020
Randy was born on September 14, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Imogene McEver.
He married Kathy Bartholomew on May 25, 2001 and they made their home in Overland Park, Kansas
Among his many adventures, he proudly served three years in the United States Army. He retired in 2015, after working more than 20 years as a dispatcher for the A.B. May Company.
He loved the KC Chiefs, the Royals, his Fantasy Football team “The Outlaws”, all things KU and OU (he and Kathy were a house divided!), and NASCAR races. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time at the public library. But his favorite thing to do was riding his “Ruby Red” Harley Davidson chopper motorcycle. He rode as often as possible. His last ride was May 1st, 2020. He spent the day enjoying the perfect biking weather, riding around the city.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Kathy McEver, his mother, Imogene McEver, his sister, Vickie Hadley, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
For years, Randy participated in the Kansas City Bikers for Babies events, raising money for the March of Dimes organization. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Randy’s memory to the March of Dimes.
