Ralph Joseph Iseman, Jr., 89, Lee’s Summit, MO finished his earthly journey April 27, 2020.

Ralph, eldest son of Ralph Joseph, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Lomax) Iseman was born October 18,1930. He was the oldest of nine children. Ralph graduated from DeLaSalle Military Academy and attended Finley Engineering. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. On May 1, 1954, Ralph married the love of his life Barbara Jean (Howard). He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company/AT&T for 39 years. Ralph and Barbara raised 8 children. He coached teams in which his sons were involved. Ralph & Barbara introduced their family to camping. They saw and explored much of the US as a family. He was active in every parish they lived in and left his mark with his carpentry skills. Ralph was a master woodworker and loved gardening. Together they volunteered in their parishes, Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home and San Javier Mission in Tucson, Arizona where they were snowbirds for many years. Ralph was a strong, humble man with a giving heart he will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara. Children Mary Jo LeCluyse (Mark), Michele Shaw (Bernie), Ralph, III (Julie), Barbara Jayne Cole (Bill), Daniel (Teresa), David (Mary), Andrew (Shelly), and Charles (Vikki) and 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kansas City Hospice or Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lee’s Summit, MO could be made in Ralph’s honor. Services will be at a later date.
