To Iseman Family,
I was so sad to hear about Ralph’s death. Though he will be missed by his family and friends here on earth, heaven is surely blessed with his presence. My memory of his smile and laugh still bring a smile to my face. God blessed with you all with a wonderful husband and father . I hope you find comfort in all your great memories of him.

Ralph and Barbara were our neighbors here in Lees Summit for several years. We knew Ralph as a great gardener and landscaper and an even greater carpenter. Ralph made me several office shelves that were the most excellent quality. I am looking at them right now as I write this. We will truly missed his presence in his yard. Ralph and I had talks all the time across our "neighbor fence". May God's blessings and compassion surround Barbara and his family.
"Eternal rest grant unto Ralph, O' Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Ralph's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace."

I want to offer my condolences to the Iseman Family. I worked with Ralph on the SWB Division Staff at 500 E 8th Street in Kansas City, Mo in the early 80’s. Him and I spent many times working side by side on trouble cases both in town and out of town. Several out of town over night trips. I learned a lot from Ralph. He was one of the most knowledgeable telephone man I ever met. I would call him if I had case of trouble I needed help with long after we were no longer in the same job. He loved his grandkids and would often tell me stories about their interactions together. Still today I find myself repeating one of the many humorous stories he had told me when a conversation about grandkids comes up. I’ve never forgot him and often wondered what had become of him. I’d like to think that we good friends as well as work mates. He surely made a difference in my life for knowing him.

The entire Iseman Family is a testament to the love, faith, and hard work that Ralph and Barbara poured into it throughout their lives. Our favorite memory was the Halloween hayride, bonfire and haunted Forrest event that Ralph and Barbara hosted when our kids were little for many years. My husband and I didn’t come from a family like this and the Iseman’s are the example we aspired to emulate with our own. We are so sorry for the loss of this amazing family’s patriarch but please know his memory will carry on through the many lives he has touched throughout his life. We love you Charly and Vikki and your entire family!

Our favorite memory was when we were invited to Ralph & Barbara's "Haunted Woods". It was back when the kids were young. Our son was close in age to Bill & Jayne's kids. Ralph & Barbara lived on some acreage and they went all out decorating a walking trail, had a fire going and lots of food & fun! I'm sure it was a lot of work (which he probably loved) but it sure made the evening so enjoyable & memorable. So thankful for that memory and others.
May Gods grace provide peace and comfort to those that are hurting.

I never met him, but he had to be a wonderful man to raise such a loving family. I loved Andy from the first time I met him with Shelly(my niece )

My deepest sympathies to all of you for your loss. As a fellow parishioner at Holy Spirit, Ralph was the epitome of a kind, generous, hard-working man who clearly adored Barbara and was so rightfully proud of his family. It’s especially heartbreaking to lose him during a time in which you must wait to gather for consolation. He will long be remembered, and his legacy is strong in each of you!

What a well written obituary for a great man. You can feel the love that went into writing it. It's one of the best obituaries I have read.
I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's depth. It's hard losing either parent, but know from my own experience how incredibly sorrowful it is to lose your dad.
Sending many prayers for the repose of his soul and for the comfort of your family. You and your mom will especially be in my prayers.
