In Memory Of
Deborah "Debbie" Mary Payne
1951 - 2020

Deborah "Debbie" Mary Payne, 68, of Edgerton, KS, passed away on March 9, 2020.
She was born July 1, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Garland and Mozelle Goodwin in Kansas City.

On March 5, 1983, she married Donald Payne, and they made their home in Edgerton, KS, where they were inseparable.

Debbie was employed as a Production Planner for the Bayer Company, until she retired to spend more time with Don and her family.

Family was the most important thing to Debbie. She knew how to calm the worst storm, and reach people in such a positive, kind way. Regardless of the weather, you could always count on her to be out at the ballfields, or anywhere the kids led her. She was their biggest supporter and number one fan. When the time came, where she no longer needed to be the afterschool entertainer, Debbie found much joy in her new fur baby Scout.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, her son, Christopher Payne (Spouse, Channele) and daughters Stacie Lewis (Spouse, David) and Kerry Wrenick (Spouse, Scott), brother Greg Goodwin (Spouse, Arriel), grandkids, Connor, Alyssa, Will, Trestle, and Tobin, along with many more loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Mozelle Goodwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Olathe Hospice House or to the Olathe Cancer Center.
