Mary L. Elliott, 84, of Olathe, passed away on November 13, 2019.
She was born on September 13, 1935 to Luther and Violet (Johnson) Busby at Corpus Christi, TX.
Mary worked as a teacher for Faith Baptist Church for many years and was also a long-time member of the church.
On October 13, 1954, she married Grant Elliott, and they made their home in Olathe, Kansas. Mary enjoyed swimming, water skiing, gardening and teaching
Mary is survived by her daughter, Scheyvonne C. Elliott (formerly Scheyvonne C. Jordan), and her son Leslie G. Elliott, grandchildren Apryl Jordan, Josiah Jordan, Jeremiah Jordan, Vincent Peter Jordan, Elissa Owens, Creighton Heuer and Trevor Heuer, Amanda Fletcher, Jennifer Botteron, Emily Lane, Dana Elliott and Kristie Blaylock and her sister Francis Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Velma F. Irvin, her son, Virgil W. Elliott, and her husband, Grant Elliott.
