Marcia Lu Schuler, 84, Olathe, KS passed Thursday, September 26, 2019.
Marcia graduated from Meriden High School in Meriden, Kansas. She worked for Presbyterian Manors of America (Kansas City Presbyterian Manor and Aberdeen Village) for forty-five years in various positions and on a full time, part time and as needed basis. She was very proud of her forty-five year career.
Marcia is survived by two children, Deborah (Martin) Schuler Tupman, Shawnee, KS and Mike Schuler (Tami), Overland Park, KS; two grandchildren, Nathan Schuler and Nicholas Schuler, Overland Park, KS; and two brothers, Larry Middaugh (Susan), Sullivan’s Island, SC and Ron Middaugh (Diana), Venice, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty five years, Dale; and her parents, Elmer and Helen Middaugh.
The family would like to thank the Aberdeen Village Healthcare staff and the Elara Caring Hospice staff for their excellent care for Marcia and support to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Aberdeen Village Employee Education Fund, c/o John Westmacott, 17500 W. 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66061.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 10100 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS.
