Jeffry Kyle Lubberts, 69, of Overland Park, KS, passed away August 21, 2019 at Kansas City Hospice House.

He was born on June 8, 1950 to Albert C. and Dorothy M. (Kyle) Lubberts in Oxnard, CA.

Jeff worked as a Director of Claims for Universal Underwriters.

On August 14, 1984, he married Paula (Gulley). Jeff and Paula made their home in Overland Park, KS.

He was a member of Colonial Presbyterian Church. Jeff cherished the relationships he had with family and friends, he was a passionate story teller and had an unmatched appreciation for life and all that it had to offer. He loved cooking, hunting with his best friends, jewelry making, and was a proud member of God’s Garden.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Paula, his son Matthew Gulley and daughter-in-law Lisa Gulley, his brother Skip Lubberts, his sister Monique Morgan, his granddaughter Madeline Gulley, his nephew Wesley Lubberts, and niece Maggie Lubberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy Lubberts.

Visitation will be held on Sat., Aug 24, 2019 at 2pm at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 12501
137th St, Overland Park, KS 66221, followed by a Memorial Service at 3pm, and reception to follow at the church.
