Rex (Barry) Hodgson, 75, of Olathe, passed away on August 20th, 2019 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

He was born on June 12th, 1944 to Millard and Edith (Phillips) Hodgson in Topeka, Kansas.

Rex worked as a Truck Driver for many different companies.

On June 24th, 1967, he married Carolyn May Hodgson (Talbott). Rex and Carolyn lived in Olathe, Kansas.

Rex is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, Daughter Michelle Cornwell & Husband Darren, Son Jeff Hodgson & Wife Wendy, Foster Son Carl Vogan & Wife Tina, 6 Grandchildren Ashlee Hodgson, Brittney Ivey, Kaela Roach (Husband Anthony), Brandi Hodgson, Bridgette Fernandez (Husband Manny), Brandon Crow-Moore (Husband Brayden), 6 Great Grandchildren Trinitee, Drew, Kassidee, Ariana, Ryker & Stella.

He was preceded in death by his parents Millard and Ordean Hodgson, the Aunt and Uncle who raise him Clarence and Irene Barrette, his brother Lowell Hodgson, and sister Twila Staples.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 from 6-8pm at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Olathe, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 24th, at 1:30pm at Penwell-Gabel.

Memorials are suggested to the Family or Prairie Center Church of God of Prophecy.
